SEASON 8 : A CRACK AT THE EDGE OF UNIVERSE - Part Two
Industry & business shifts in these years are real. At fré, while maintaining and shaping internal culture, we tried our best to keep fré balanced. Thanks to Siti Rochmah, Inneke Soetantyo, Benita Noya, Lintang Mayang, and Muhammad Vrian for making great things happen at the most challenging time for fré. We had to employ efficient strategies and pivot the business climate.
In a mission to create balance and respond to industry dynamics, I built a brand that completes fré Media Indonesia as a creative agency and fré as a collective. A brand that offers relevant services to a personalized market. Crafting HUMAN+AI capabilities, I created ADD+ Content-Creation Powerhouse with a fresh business model and direction, and a spirit of "Let's Make It Work." We set Bali as a new basecamp for our creative home — a place where the past, present, future, dimension, humans, literatures, and lifestyle blend — a melting pot of the universe.
With the rising of Artificial Intelligence worldwide. This year is the beginning of
An Era of Technology Revolution which has same energy like when the Internet deployed or Human discover fire. A two-sided creation that need to be handle wisely.

SEASON 7 : A CRACK AT THE EDGE OF UNIVERSE - Part One
Working in the creative industry came with many challenges. These years were moments of "Big Learning" for me—years to not only see business in a textbook way but also understand that business is a huge organism facing dynamic worlds. Everything is connected, from global trends, economics, market shift, The blind spots, brand velocity, company trauma to our matters as a human being.

Seeing Bali as an international depot rich in literature, we pursued deeper exploration of this island. During this chapter, we set a third home in Bali:
This house has been home for our Bali frélancers and other creative humans since the first time we moved in. With Muhammad Azmi, Farizy Zulkarnaen, Stefani Chrysillia, Erina Christiani, Wigy Ramadhan, Putri Astari, Bagus Agung, and Shita Ashita as initial frélance members, we put effort into making this house a home for everyone eager to learn, solve, and share in the creative and humanity world.
For sure, Bali came with fresh perspective on how fré as business entity should be.

In these years, I had time for lone-wolf moments, like Nyepi or sitting on a night beach under the Orion constellation. With mental health issues striking generations globally, I questioned the roots of these problems. Long story short, I got answers, fragment by fragment, connected through daily life. So, I created a campaign with hope to be understood by others called:
When each of us has a great relationship with ourselves at an atomic level, we can begin collaborating with other atoms, creating a Supernova Impact for a greater world.

SEASON 6 : ᬢ᭄ᬭᬶᬳᬶᬢᬓᬭᬦ / TRIHITAKARANA DAN いきがい / IKIGAI
In this era, during the mission of finding the brand DNA for fré, I and some of the fré team explored the land of Gods, Bali. In Bali, we found countless literatures. As a melting pot of the universe, we discovered references, breakthrough ideas, and amazing humans that inspired us to expand our vision. Here we strengthened fré's Research & Development Department.

After years of endless grinding for mostly one energy bucket of life, I finally found a place where past, present, and future compressed into one plane.
A stronghold of literature and exploration, a sanctuary where I found myself as energy evolving and flowing with every moment, and a frontier of higher-self dimensions.
Within this year, me and fré explored some collaboration projects. One project crafted to define fré's DNA was titled:
A short movie shot and mastered on an iPhone, portraying our sacred words: learn, solve, share.

SEASON 5 : NYEPI DAN KREASI
Covid hit worldwide, a big moment of reflection for all our creative works. This era became a moment of contemplation. I discovered many creative projects for the collective back then. Here's a list of those projects:
Limitations on video production were not a barrier for us. We discovered a live video production system to keep creating when strict Covid rules applied everywhere. Live video production erased distances, as long as we had qualified internet speeds. This online system opened many possibilities.
Thanks to Hedy Bramanta and Ongko for the R&D and execution.
This method is still very applicable even in 2025 and beyond. Imagine being able to monitor production processes from your office or home while staying focused.

A 2D frame-by-frame animation project. As the Creative Director, I handled the communication message, style suggestions, mood board, and Quality Control Master.
Special thanks to fréteam, especially Kevin Mateus (Asset Creator + 2D Animator) and Humayra Syahutama (Humanist Voice-Over Talent). This project offered brands a media alternative while traditional video production faced restrictions.

A personal project sharing my predictions on how Covid would change the world—from a Back to Nature movement to Virtual Reality devices. By the time I write this, the predictions are 90% accurate!
The Visual Zen series was released in two volumes: one capturing the current state and the second delivering hope for humanity.

A collaborative playlist fro our collective member. Despite of the songs, we treat these Albums with Proper Visual Design. Music is the one that unite us together. Thanks to Yulius Anggada, Humayra Syahutama, and other fréteam and frélancer that make the release possible.

In Covid, Physical Contact was prohibitted, Podcast was saturated but still a powerful media to share our learning.
So, We created interactive podcast, inviting other creative person (even from other cities) like Rifa Mulyawan from Jakarta, Fikri Ramadhan from Surabaya, Rhea Revana Rency from Bali, and some other Creative Persons to join this collaborative event that live-broadcasted on fremedia.co Instagram. This program was a great oase for our collective mental state back then.
This program was happened by combining energy from Egy Arganatha as Workflow Master + Host, Hedy Bramanta & Ongko as Live Operators, and Me as Creative Director and Publishing Graphic Designer.

Initiated by Egy Arganatha, he suggest gather.town platform to us as a customizable virtual office and super function. It is 2D-based office space, reminding me on the early PSX game, Suikoden.
We began with simple default office at that time and then we grew the 2D assets till infinite. The space itself can be expanded on our purpose not only virtual office,I worked on the artwork and later I built room by room alongside with the storytelling narrative. We did frémiles (OKR planning for fré) in this platform too.

We were trapped in Jakarta at first month Covid. We here are Yulius Anggada, Stefanus Wijaya, Hedy Bramanta, Humayra Syahutama, Rhea Revana Rency, and Sandy Winata. Just about 10 days we stucked and bored AF.
At March, Nyepi was around, we didn't know what to do, so we were getting out to get refreshment. Not visiting any place, just strolling around in the car, seeing the city of Jakarta before we decide to get back to Surabaya, back to our family. < br>
Using only iPhone camera, we record our journey with dashcam look. Then I put the narrative script + edit the video and Humayra Syahutama cover the Voice Over. That's the story how this campaign video deployed. Found out this is the beginning era of our exploration on Mobile Videography.



SEASON 4 : THE DUALITY
Our collective became more serious; we registered fré as a company under the name PT fré Media Indonesia.
I was promoted to CEO.
This era brought new lessons in Business Scope, including creating structures, managing internal culture, expanding brands, and building relationships with clients. We grew from a production house to a creative agency. This growth happened thanks to the first-class members of fré: Candra Saktya, Kevin Mateus, Stefanus Wijaya, Siti Rochmah, Ongko, and all the frélancers from fré.
From Surabaya, we built a new home in Jakarta, Indonesia's capital and a greater commercial playground:
This era moved swiftly for me and fré Media Indonesia, transitioning from non-commercial content to handling commercial projects such as web series, campaigns, key visual materials, TVCs, and creative strategies for brands.

SEASON 3 : lえあぐえ おf なかま / LEAGUE OF NAKAMA
I call this the Novice Era in the creative industry. It began as I worked as a permanent lecturer at my alma mater. Later, I decided to build fré as a community-based production house alongside Ongko, Aries Pranata, Yeyen, Aditya Bonaficio Calderon, and Fikri Ramadhan. Back then, we mainly created content for local brands.
While continuing as a freelance lecturer, we had the chance to grow fré into a home for anyone interested in learning, solving, and sharing in the creative world.
Urgently needing a collective space, we rented an old house where creativity thrived:
The very first home for anyone who wanted to learn, solve, and share in the creative industry.

In parallel, between 2011 and 2015, I ran an independent business:
A digital caricature shop for special occasions. This was where I learned the details of human expression and running a creative business. DoodlMe was my first experience in understanding how creative businesses operate.

Through our work, we expanded from a local pool to larger opportunities:
This visionary client taught me and the fré members to create non-commercial creative materials, including presentation materials, event documentation, campaign socialization (live shooting & animation), and empowerment videos.

SEASON 2 : DUNIA DALAM BHINNEKA
As a multimedia student during university, I absorbed both coding and design fundamentals. This era was a period of hard work, diving into the broad principles of multimedia pillars such as illustration, 2D and 3D animation, graphic design, web development, UI/UX, game design, and cinematography. Universitas Surabaya, a multicultural campus, portrayed Indonesia's diversity. Here, I met people and moments that shaped my understanding of living in harmony with diversity.
During this time, I began my career as a:
Handling local brand logos, graphic designs, 2D and 3D animations for special occasions like birthdays and weddings, music mastering, and digital imaging services.
One of my proudest achievements during this period was releasing my first 3D stereoscopic interactive animation film:
A 30-minute interactive film dedicated to the next generation of Indonesians. This milestone greatly influenced the person I am today.

SEASON 1 : 元気玉 / GENKIDAMA
Born in the small town of Blitar and later moving to Malang for high school at Saint Joseph College, I roamed freely as a child. I was always illustrating (even during class), playing RPG games, generating mixtapes for myself and friends, subscribing to PC magazines, and recording moments using Hi8 video tapes—all with a spirit of learning, solving, and sharing with every being in the universe.
